Seniors
Welcome to James S. Rickards High School Senior Site
Rising 12th graders of the JSRHS Class of 2027, your senior year has begun! Stay connected by constantly monitoring FOCUS, CANVAS, the RHS website, and the ParentSquare group that has been set up just for you!
As we embark on your final chapter of high school, here are a few suggestions to ensure a successful senior year:
- Join the Class of 2027 ParentSquare to receive updates and stay connected.
- Take your senior pictures to secure your spot in the 2027 yearbook. Be on the lookout for mail from BPI.
- Meet with your guidance counselor to ensure that you are on track to graduate.
- You MUST have a 2.0 GPA, 18 or 24 credits, and pass the 10th grade FSA and Algebra I EOC (or receive a concordant score on the ACT/SAT) to graduate.
- You MUST have an overall unweighted GPA of 3.0 by the end of 1st semester to graduate with honors and be featured in the Tallahassee Democrat.
- Don't procrastinate. If you're having difficulty in your classes, speak with your teacher(s) as soon as possible to receive remediation.
- STUDY HARD and FINISH STRONG.
- COMMUNICATION
We will communicate important senior information using the following outlets – ParentSquare, FOCUS, Senior Assemblies, Senior Website, and during morning and afternoon announcements. Seniors and their parents should both be on FOCUS and the ParentSquare App, so important announcements are not missed.
